Our Vision - "To be a model for environmental neutrality."

Our Environment Policy – "To give as much or more to the world as we take out of it.”

This requires us to :

Ensure our operations more than comply with legislation, and deal with environmental issues at their source or as close to it as possible.

Seek to design and develop products with minimal environmental impact during manufacture, use and subsequent disposal.

Optimize energy usage, prevent waste, re-cycle waste and treat waste in all forms.

Train and educate employees in best environmental practice.

Work with industry bodies, government agencies, business associates and others, to promote environmental care and update standards and legislation.

Not only are our products environment friendly, they actively work towards preserving the environment :

As a Solutions Provider for Preventing and Remedying Environmental pollution in the local market Puritas is one of the leading suppliers of turnkey solutions to factories, hotels, hospitals and others to treat their wastes, thereby reducing the impact of waste-discharge on the environment.

How we strive to Minimize Environmental Impact :

Bringing the lush back to our tea and rubber estates – through reforestation.

In keeping with our policy of ‘giving as much to the world as we take out of it’ our plantation subsidiary Kelani Valley Plantations Ltd, has successfully planted approx 742 hectares of forestry in its rubber estates. Replanting of an additional 68 acres is in progress.
