Whilst we believe profit is the raison d’etre of business, we firmly
believe it is necessary that profit be earned without compromise on
integrity and ethics. Our policy of social responsibility extends beyond
service to communities and the environment, we let our conscience guide
our choice of businesses: the products we manufacture and market, the
processes and procedures we follow, and the principles we represent.
With over 60 companies in some 360 production centres, we pursue a “Good
Neighbour Policy” in each locale. Whilst companies are encouraged to
contribute in areas and ways they know best, the Group is establishing a
Fund dedicated to Not for Profit Activity. This Fund will identify areas
for support, mobilise internal support for large scale projects, and
assist sectoral initiatives within the areas of priority identified.
