N.G. Wickremeratne Chairman

Joined Hayleys in 1971. Appointed Group Executive Director in 1983 and to the Board in 1986. Appointed Deputy Chairman in July 2004 and Chairman & Chief Executive Officer in January 2007. Chief Executive of Dipped Products Limited from its inception. Holds a B.Sc. Degree from the University of Ceylon, Peradeniya. Chaired the Sri Lanka Association of Manufacturers and Exporters of Rubber Products. Serves as a Committee Member of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and has been its representative on the National Labour Advisory Council. President of the Sri Lanka-France Business Council.

A.M. Pandithage Deputy Chairman

Joined Hayleys in 1969. Appointed Group Executive Director in 1996 and to the Board in 1998. Appointed Deputy Chairman in 2007. Chief Executive of Hayleys Advantis Ltd. since its inception. Director Sri Lanka Port Management & Consultancy Services Ltd. Former Chairman of the Ceylon Association of Ships’ Agents. Former Director of both the Sri Lanka Ports Authority & Jaya Container Terminals Ltd. Has overall responsibility for the Transportation Sector.

R.A. Ebell

Joined Hayleys in 1977. Appointed Group Executive Director in 1986 and to the Board in 1989. Fellow, Institute of Chartered Accountants, Sri Lanka and Fellow, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, U.K. Member, Chartered Institute of Marketing, U.K. Past President, CIMA Sri Lanka Division. Has served on the Statutory Accounting Standards Committee and as Chairman, Accounting Standards Sub-Committee, Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. Is responsible for the Group Finance and Group Human Resources functions. Has responsibility for the Knitted Fabric sector and for Talawakelle Tea Estates in the Plantations sector.

L.K.B. Godamunne (non-executive director)

Joined the Board in 1998.Director, Hayleys Exports Ltd. and Haycarb Ltd. Retired as Country Director, United Nations World Food Programme in 1995.  Former Secretary General and Member, Board of Directors, Mahaweli Authority of Sri Lanka.

P.S.P.S. Perera

Joined Hayleys in 1977. Appointed to the Group Executive Directorate in 1997 and to the Board in 2001. Holds a B.Sc.(Hons.) Degree from the University of Peradeniya. Has overall responsibility for the Fibre sector and responsibility for HJS Condiments and Sunfrost in the Agriculture sector. Is also responsible for the Group Export Shipping function.

J.D.Bandaranayake (non-executive director)

Appointed to the Board in July 2004. Deputy Managing Director of Ceylon Tobacco Company. Holds a Law Degree from Open University of Sri Lanka. Fellow, Institute of Personnel Management, Sri Lanka and Fellow, Institute of Chartered Secretaries (UK). Serves as a Director of Coca Cola Beverages Sri Lanka Ltd, Sampath Bank Ltd. and James Finlay & Company ( Colombo) Ltd. Serves on the Board of Governors of Sri Lanka Business Development Centre (SLBDC), Member of the Strategic Enterprise Management Agency (SEMA). Deputy Vice Chairman of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and Vice Chairman of the Employers’ Federation of Ceylon.

A. Hettiarachchy

Appointed to the Board in August 2004. Joined Haycarb Ltd. in 1983. Appointed to the Group Management Committee in 2001. Chartered Engineer, Member of the Institute of Production Engineers (UK) and Member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers (UK). Has overall responsibility for the Environment sector.

M.R. Zaheed

Appointed to the Board in August 2004. Joined Hayleys in 1981. Appointed to the Group Management Committee in 2001. Holds a B.A. (Hons.) Degree from the University of Kelaniya and an M.B.A. Degree from the University of Colombo. Served as Vice-Chairman of the Imports Section, Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. Has responsibility for the Agro and Consumer groups in the Inland Marketing sector and for Quality Seed Co. in the Agriculture sector.

A.M. Senaratne (non executive director)

Appointed to the Board in November 2005. Resides in Canada and currently serves as Vice President Supply Chain Solutions with Miami Florida based Ryder Systems Inc. Previously held senior positions in Global Account Development as a member of the Global Business Board, as Vice President Acquisitions, Vice President and General Manager TNT Logistics North America and President-designate TNT Indonesia. Holds a B.Sc from the University of Ceylon, Colombo, and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA – Canada).
 

J.A.G. Anandarajah

Joined Dipped Products Ltd. in 1980 and was appointed to its Board in 1989 and to the Hayleys Group Management Committee in 2001. He is Managing Director of Dipped Products since 1st January 2007, and was appointed to the Board of Hayleys Ltd on the same date. He holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Peradeniya and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chemistry, Sri Lanka.

T.L.F. Jayasekera

Appointed to the Board on 1st January 2007, he is Group Finance Director of Brandix and was previously Group Finance Director of Aitken Spence. Before that he had a career in international banking during which he served as General Manager of the Deutsche Bank in Colombo. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, U.K.
