Amongst Hayleys’ value added exports are agricultural products, which include semi-processed and processed vegetables, fruits and flower seeds.

Semi processed and processed vegetables & fruits

The range of vegetables, mainly exported in pickled form includes Gherkins, Silver Skin Onions, Chilies, Relish, Bell Peppers, Jalapeno Peppers and Spanish Peppers. Fruits exported include Pineapple, Papaya, Mango, Banana, Jackfruit, Melon and Cashew in wet and dehydrated form.

Flower Seeds

Continuing in its pioneering spirit, Hayleys began the production of flower seeds in Sri Lanka in the early 1980’s, and is still the only exporter of hybrid flower seeds in the country. The project is a joint venture in collaboration with Syngenta Seeds BV of the Netherlands, a significant player in the global market.

We are well poised to capitalize on the world trend towards improved high-yielding quality seeds in floriculture as well as in the vegetable sector.
